THIS SANTA EXCHANGE IS OPEN FOR SUBMISSION TO ALL ILLUSTRATORS!!!

RULES:

1. BE DEDICATED! If there is even a CHANCE you think you wont be able to get it done do NOT join.

2. PUT YOUR HEART INTO IT! If 5 hours is the average time you spend on an artwork...put in 6...if 30 minutes is your average...put in an hour...if 20 hours is your average...put in a little bit extra. <3 Tis about GIVING

3. Be prepared to show me updates! I will be asking for proof of progress during the course of the time this is running.

4. You MUST have at least 5 submissions in your gallery that are drawn or painted (traditional or digital)!!! This is not to determine "quality" or "worth"...it is simply to prove that your skills lie beyond a 30 second stick man. You will not be rejected based on the 'quality' of your art...however you must show real effort in your work.

5. No PORN, or OFFENSIVE imagery. Furthermore if you are worried about "not liking the character someone else wants drawn"...please do not ask to exchange...please do not join at all.

6. NO complaining about what you get! We are encouraging everyone who joins to give their all but please ALWAYS remember this exchange is about what you are giving more than what you are getting in return. And always always remember its about the heart behind the art!

7. You absolutely MUST finish the artwork. Furthermore you MUST finish it ON TIME!!! It is the beginning of november and you have almost 2 months until christmas...there is NO excuse if you take on the responsibility of joining this to not have it finished in time. Understand this BEFORE you sign up.

8. ON TIME=late. Christmas is not the deadline...all submissions 'should' be finished by December 15th and absolutely NO later than December 20th...this gives leeway time for us to figure out who hasn't submitted...and procrastination does not show said "heart behind the art" If you are throwing it together last minute on christmas eve...can you really say you put your all into it?

9. Do NOT submit your artwork to deviantart UNTIL christmas EVE at the earliest.

JOINING

Make a journal indicating what you would like to receive for art. (oc's or fanarts) Please be flexible and try to leave many options. (You want to be surprised right ? ) This is to help out who ever gets you for ideas.

Send a note that says "join" (of course) Make sure its a note and NOT a comment

In the note please include the link to your journal submission.

I will not draw names until EVERYONE has submitted their journal.

Also all deviations will be uploaded here after the event is over for everyone to see. (inks to original deviations will be in the comments. View my other club for examples on how the deviations will look.)



To Volunteer: The heart behind the heart behind the art...or something. On the off chance someone DOESN'T finish their portion of the exchange...it is hardly fair for one person to go without their gift because of another person's selfishness. I am looking for volunteers to help pick up the slack should this unfortunate mishap occur. So anyone willing to DONATE their services as an alternate for anyone who doesn't do their part...please send a note that says "volunteer"
